The BiB Farm and Estate policy is just that - a policy designed to cover every part of the modern day farm and/or estate excluding motor.
The policy is split into 17 sections and is designed to be as flexible as possible. In light of recent movements in the farming market, we have also changed our policy to be able to cover most diversifying risks.
Further information on the policy itself is listed below. The policy is agreed on a declaration and there is therefore no proposal form required.
Section 1 – Private House Buildings |
Available either as Standard or Super (i.e. Accidental Damage) Cover for most types of building construction (including Thatched)

Section 2 – Private House Contents |
Again a choice of Standard or Super Cover. Cover is provided for the main dwelling(s) of the insured and/or his family. Additional covers such as Holiday Homes, Caravans and Small Craft are all available on request.

Section 3 – All Risks – Personal |
Option of Specified Items e.g. Jewellery, Camcorders, etc. And/or Unspecified Items, up to a single item limit, including:
Guns, Pedal Cycles, Sports Equipment, Money & Credit Cards.

Choice of full perils available, £500 storm excess per location, Unique “Basis of Settlement” wording
