The BiBu Accident and Sickness policy is a stand-alone policy which has been tailor made for the individual with the option of ‘Accident’ only or ‘Accident & Sickness’ cover.

Cover can be provided for most occupational classes, including heavy manual work. Rating is based on the occupation for the Capital and Weekly ‘Accident’ benefits but is calculated on the age of the proposer for the ‘Sickness’ benefit.

COVER SUMMARY:

SECTION ONE – Capital Benefits
Each unit of cover provides for Accidental Bodily Injury resulting in:
Death or Permanent Total Disablement £10,000
Loss of sight in either eye or speech £10,000
Total and incurable paralysis or insanity £10,000
Total loss of hearing £7,000
Loss of hearing in one ear £1,500
Loss of thumb £1,500
Loss of finger or big toe £500
Loss of any other toe £200
Permanent Disability not provided for above £10,000(max)

SECTION TWO – Weekly ‘Accident’ Benefit
Each unit of cover provides for Accidental Bodily Injury resulting in:
Temporary Disablement from usual occupation £25 per week
(Maximum 104 weeks, exluding first 14 days)

SECTION THREE – Weekly ‘Sickness’ Benefit
Each unit of cover provides benefit for ‘Sickness’ resulting in:
Temporary Disablement from usual occupation £25 per week
(Maximum 52 weeks, excluding first 14 days)

N.B.
We are unable to offer accident cover for proposer’s exceeding 65 years of age (60 for sickness cover).
Maximum number of units shall not exceed 20 units without referrals to underwriters.
